Buick and Cadillac Still Stuck With Old Man Image

Despite General Motor’s ambitions of reducing the average age of Buick and Cadillac buyers, a recent study has concluded that there is still a long way to go, before set targets are actually achieved.

In a bid to encourage younger buyers to opt for Cadillac and Buick, General Motors invested a few Billion Dollars in Research and Development. Even though it did come in handy, major improvements are yet to be noted. A recent study shows that the average age of a Lincoln user is 61 years, while Buick comes second, with 60.3 years.

Bugatti and Cadillac are tied for the third spot, at 59.5, while people rolling in Lexus, average 56.9. However, Buick has reduced their average user age by 1.1 year, within the past year and a half. Hence, even though improvements are noticeable, they are not as huge as General Motors would have liked.
